Women’s Euro 2022 City Activations.

GREATER LONDON AUTHORITY

As part of the wider Women’s Euro (WEURO) campaign, the GLA engaged Heart with a brief to bring taster challenges of the game to key locations around London.

The Brief.

Heart used the 3 digital activations developed by for the main NPP tour, encased in brightly coloured phone boxes which tied the tournament into a truly London aesthetic.

The phone boxes spent 9 days at Kings Cross and Waterloo Stations where many travellers to the city and the games would be travelling through.

The 3 phone boxes each had a different activity:

  1. Digital keepy uppy with Faye White.

  2. Mexican wave – allowing the participants wave to be stitched into a nationwide digital film.

  3. A goal celebration video booth allowing visitors to stitch their own goal celebration into a shareable clip of a famous goal being scored.

Aside from the results being shared with participants, highlights of each challenge were show on the big screen at the Trafalgar Square fan zone.
