Once again, HEART and eOne have had a very successful year of red carpet experiences for some of the best-selling UK films.
From giant Dream trees dwarfing Leicester Square gardens, to Ricky Gervais performing live as David Brent and his band Forgone Conclusion,
there has been plenty to keep the fans entertained.
London’s Leicester Square was almost unrecognizable after HEART Productions designed and produced a two-day immersive experience for the premiere of Steven Spielberg’s BFG. Based on the movie set, HEART created the BFG’s Giant Land which included a huge Dream Tree surrounded by reflective pools and a cave entrance leading to his enormous chair, bag and trumpet. This enchanted experience was topped off with a bridged waterfall leading people to the cinema entrance.
The experience included a display of the BFG Dream Jar trail and green screen photo opportunities. Fans could also listen to popular Penguin authors read aloud extracts from Roald Dahl’s famous novel, with Mark Rylance, the lead actor, reading the final chapter.
Over 7000 people flocked to the square on the Saturday, and a further 2500 enjoyed the experience on Sunday as part of the UK premiere.
Brent is back! HEART produced the David Brent, Life On The Road premiere for our friends at eOne. Highlights included Ricky Gervais performing as David Brent with his band Forgone Conclusion on the carpet in London's Leicester Square.
