In 2013 wireless festival moved over to the now vacant Olympic park in Stratford leaving the iconic Hyde Park in need of a new festival. That festival arrived in the form of BBST Barclaycard presents British summertime. This more family focused festival gave us a whole new set of design challenges. Learning from the success of wireless, the organizers of BBST introduced a grandstand viewing platform that we were tasked to re-create the famous VIP lounge in, again making it the only place to be seen on site. We were also tasked to interact with customers around site. We did this by creating fun mini interactive theatre performances around site under the banner of “smile a day” a creative that ran through the event and required some eye catching graphic design.
